Hey there! My name is Sarah and I want to extend warm greetings as your friendly Bellingham Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.

A little about me- I was born in Georgia but raised as a Washington Gal here in the Pacific Northwest. Most often you will find me researching all things health, listening to podcasts and spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes and baking yummy paleo treats. I also enjoy going on long walks and can’t live too long without dark chocolate and avocados. Well, I’m sure I could-but still!

My passion for nutrition began after my health and the health of my family started to completely transform during a Whole30 challenge in 2014. Personally, I used to struggle with a myriad of symptoms and didn’t know what was going on. I got random stomach aches, hot flashes (yes, my mom didn’t believe me either) and was tired and confused over many food sensitivities. However, all that began to change (much to our surprise!) as we began to change the way we were eating.

I still remember the moment where all of the sudden my brain fog lifted and I felt like I could think clearly. I discovered what having energy was like! I didn’t even know I had brain fog until that moment. I thought it was normal to be tired and unable to concentrate at times. Nope! My stomach aches went away, the rest of my family felt much better and our moods changed for the better.

As our family’s health transformed, friends and family around us started to see that something was definitely different and wanted to know what our “secret” was. I soon found a passion for sharing information that I had learned and helping others. I truly feel that the Lord is calling me to serve in this way and that’s why I decided to become a certified practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association.

My heart is saddened by the current health care system and the fact that there is so much misinformation out there. After years of struggling with my health and spending countless hours finding answers, I truly feel prepared to encourage you and guide you in your own health journey as my goal is for you to get lasting results as well. There is hope!

I am so excited to work with you and look forward to getting to know you!

Kind Words from Clients

Sarah was professional in her approach to nutrition care, as she listened to my issues and directed me towards positive diet changes. What a difference a diet geared toward your personal issues can make in the health care process! Most of all, the accountability and Sarah’s listening ear made a difference in turning the corner for effective and targeted diet and supplement habits. God has made our bodies unique, with unique diet needs. I have relief from symptoms I was getting from foods that were not meant for me personally and I am now enjoying more energy through the day and good sleep at night. Thank you, Sarah, for your encouragement and wisdom in this area!
